TRAILBLAZERS SHOW JUMPING is an organisation developed for the enthusiastic rider. It is a competition structure suitable for the true amateur/recreational rider with four levels of show jumping competitions over heights of .75M / .85M / .95M and 1.05M. These competitions are split into Senior and Junior sections and run over two rounds, culminating in a Grand Final. Hargate Arena is a approved Trailblazers Centre – promoting the Trailblazer concept, and running the first two rounds of the competition. There is one second round competition per participating venue and there will be 4 to qualify for show jumping at each level for the Grand Final which will be held at Stoneleigh Park (formerly Royal Show Ground),  at the beginning of August, 2008.  Juniors classes are for riders 16 years and under and riders must not have attained their 17th birthday by the 1st day of the National Championships.  Qualification for show jumping second rounds will consist of a double clear in a height class and will entitle that rider and horse/pony to compete in any number of qualifying second rounds at that height class. Once a competitor has qualified they will be issued with a congratulatory letter telling them that they have qualified. The competitor will then have the choice to either take up the qualification or not. Should the competitor choose to accept the qualification for the second rounds, he/she will return the congratulatory letter to the Centre where they qualified,  together with a cheque for £12.00 and a stamped addressed envelope. Clear round entitles you to one round of jumps, 50p extra for clear round rosettes.

A win at classes one, two or three eliminates your horse, rider combination from those classes in the next season.

All clear rounds in any of the above classes will entitle you to a place in the HARGATE CHAMPIONSHIP in October.
