NEW SCHEDULE 2008 CLICK HERE TRAILBLAZERS DRESSAGE is an organisation developed for the enthusiastic rider. It is a competition structure suitable for the true amateur/recreational rider with three levels of dressage comprising of Preliminary, Novice and Elementary. These competitions are split into Senior and Junior sections and run over two rounds, culminating in a Grand Final. Hargate Arena is a approved Trailblazers Center – promoting the Trailblazer concept and running the first two rounds of the competition. There is one second round competition per participating venue and 4 combinations will qualify for the Grand Final which will be held at Stoneleigh Park (formerly Royal Show Ground) at the beginning of August, 2008. Juniors classes are for riders 16 years and under and riders must not have attained their 17th birthday by the 1st day of the National Championships. Qualification for dressage second rounds will be on class percentage, with all tests at 58% and over gaining qualification at that level. Once a competitor has qualified they will be issued with a congratulatory letter telling them that they have qualified. The competitor will then have the choice to either take up the qualification or not. Should the competitor choose to accept the qualification for the second rounds, he/she will return the congratulatory letter to the Center where they qualified, together with a cheque for £12.00 and a stamped addressed envelope.
